# West Ham: Hammers table bid for Youssef En-Nesyri

**[According to Il Milanista](https://www.ilmilanista.it/calciomercato/calciomercato-milan-derby-notizia-bomber-giugno/), West Ham United have tabled an offer of €35m (£30.3m) for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.**

### **Hammers make En-Nesyri approach**

As it stands, David Moyes only has one recognised striker at his disposal in Michail Antonio. While that has not damaged their season so far – they are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 13 games to go ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table)) – it could be an issue in the long-term.

As such, they are said to be eyeing En-Nesyri, and are believed to have tabled a significant offer for the 23-year-old. AC Milan are also in pursuit.

### **Making plans**

The Hammers have a real chance of qualifying for European football this season – even if they do not make the Champions League, the Europa League would be a boost for Moyes’ men. If they do make it into either competition, they will need a stronger squad with more depth and quality.

With 17 goals in all competitions so far this campaign for Sevilla ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433049)), including four in the Champions League, En-Nesyri clearly has quality. He is young, too, which would be another bonus for the Irons. He has [43](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433049) goals throughout his career, with this term clearly his best to date and he looks to be a player that is continually improving.

Taking all that into account, West Ham’s reported bid, if successful, could be something of a bargain.
