West Ham United’s attacking woes show little sign of easing after another frustrating weekend.
The Hammers fell 2–0 to Arsenal in Nuno Espirito Santo’s second match at the helm, extending winless run and leaving serious questions about their cutting edge in the final third.
While there have been small flashes of improvement since Nuno’s appointment, West Ham continue to lack a consistent threat in front of goal. Jarrod Bowen remains the only reliable scorer, Callum Wilson is still struggling to find form following his summer arrival, and with Michail Antonio having been released, options are limited.
The less said about Niclas Füllkrug, the better.
Determined to reverse their fortunes, the club are now said to be considering one of the most ambitious transfer pursuits imaginable.
West Ham Explore Endrick Possibility

According to Fichajes, West Ham have made early contact with Real Madrid to discuss a potential move for teenage prodigy Endrick — widely regarded as one of world football’s brightest young attacking talents.
The London club reportedly reached out to the Spanish giants to gauge whether any form of deal could be possible, with officials keen to bring new energy and long-term quality to Nuno’s squad.
Sitting 19th in the Premier League, West Ham’s hierarchy are desperate to provide the new manager with reinforcements in January that can immediately lift performances — and spirits — at the London Stadium.
Nuno is said to be a huge admirer of Endrick’s all-round game: his pace, flair, and remarkable composure for such a young player. Those traits, combined with his work rate and technical ability, make him the exact kind of forward the Hammers have been crying out for.
Hailed by former Real boss Carlo Ancelotti as a “special” young player, a deal for the Brazilian star seems audacious, but West Ham’s willingness to even test the waters shows a new level of ambition under Nuno.
Whether not it will pay off remains to be seen.
