Having already completed moves for Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola on a permanent deal – Moyes is seemingly determined to keep pace with England’s best sides.

Both Scamacca and Kostic [share the same agent](https://www.90min.com/posts/west-ham-close-in-on-signing-gianluca-scamacca), prompting [simultaneous talks,](https://www.90min.com/posts/west-ham-close-in-on-signing-gianluca-scamacca) with both players on West Ham’s radar ahead of what could be a very interesting 2022/2023 [Premier League](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league-news/) campaign.

Indeed, it is claimed that GSB’s offer to sign Kostic is a ‘big’ one.

He [explained:](https://twitter.com/Plettigoal/status/1550420067745251330) *“News #Kostic: Yes, there is definitely an official offer from West Ham on the table. Also via Sky UK and Sky Italia. It’s a big offer! More than €15m transfer fee. But no agreement between the clubs so far. Negotiations now and ongoing. Kostic is open to leave.”*

### The Verdict: Exciting times…

While West Ham transfers have been known to turn sour on occasion, as evident by the most recent [bizarre Jesse Lingard twist,](https://twitter.com/Toby_Cudworth/status/1549682659579797510) securing a deal for Kostic would certainly be brilliant business.

The 29-year-old shone for Frankfurt last year, playing a key role in their Europa League triumph, even prompting the Bundesliga’s official YouTube channel to call him ‘[Mr. Irreplaceable’](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QnLYreiLMA) for Oliver Glasner’s side.

There is little doubting Serbia’s international comes with pedigree and West Ham’s major bid is a real indicator of that,
