West Ham United have been urged to make a 'big signing' by bringing in Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Lowdown: Wan-Bissaka's future in doubt?

Manchester United were believed to be considering selling Wan-Bissaka in the January transfer window, however he has since made a return to the first-team picture, appearing in nine of the last ten Premier League games.

Even so, the Red Devils are still willing to listen to offers for him this summer, with Football Insider reporting that they value the right-back at around £22m, and a sale is deemed to be the most likely outcome.

The Latest: O'Rourke's comments

In an interview with GiveMeSport, journalist Pete O'Rourke praised the defender's form since returning to the Man United starting XI, and urged the Hammers to make a move for him during the next window.

The journalist said: “Wan-Bissaka, I think, since he got back in that Manchester United team in recent weeks has been excellent.

“And he’s starting to show the form that made Manchester United pay all that money from Crystal Palace as well. So, if they (West Ham) could land Wan-Bissaka in the summer, I think it'd be a big signing for them.”

The Verdict: Get it done?

Hailed as 'excellent' by members of the media, the Englishman has been very solid for Man United recently, demonstrating both his attacking and defensive abilities in the 3-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers, by creating one big chance and making four interceptions.

The 25-year-old's ability to read the game is no doubt his best attribute, ranking in the 99th percentile for interceptions completed per 90 compared to other defenders over the past year, averaging 2.22.

Given that the full-back also ranks in the 93rd percentile for successful take-ons, it is clear that he is also a very good dribbler of the ball, and his ability to go past players makes him a threat down the other end of the pitch.

With Vladimir Coufal's contract currently set to expire in the summer, it is likely West Ham will need a new right-back next season, and Wan-Bissaka would be an excellent addition to David Moyes' squad.
