Lots of West Ham United fans have been left flocking to an official update from the club.

As per the Irons' official website, Dmitri Halajko has now left his role as Academy of Football’s U23s Lead Coach to take up a youth and coaching development role at the Premier League.

It means that former Hammers midfielder Mark Robson will now take up the vacant position within the London Stadium.

The club thanked Halajko for his 'excellent' work since joining them in 2019, which has seen them finish an impressive sixth in the Premier League last season and currently third place in the 2021/22 campaign (Transfermarkt).

He has also helped with the emergence of Declan Rice and Ben Johnson from the academy, two players who have been regulars in the first team this seasom.
