West Ham supporters have been handed more great injury news as insider ExWHUemployee shares an update on winger Maxwel Cornet.

The Lowdown: Zouma and Paqueta nearing return...

Manager David Moyes is under mounting pressure to keep his position at the Hammers helm following their latest defeat to Tottenham last weekend.

The loss makes it just one Premier League win in their last 11 top flight matches, numbers which display exactly why they're currently in the midst of a relegation dog fight.

However, Moyes was recently handed some great news amid reports of potential replacements for the Scotsman.

Both Lucas Paqueta and Kurt Zouma, in a huge boost for West Ham, could return against Nottingham Forest this weekend with club insider Ex now sharing more good news.

The Latest: Ex shares Cornet news...

Replying to a fan question asking for an update on Cornet, Ex had this to say on Twitter:

"He is back in training too."

The Verdict: Brilliant...

The former Burnley star, who finished 2021/2022 as the Clarets' top goal scorer, still hasn't been able to fully display his ability in a West Ham shirt.

Injuries have hampered his first campaign at the London Stadium, and once he fully returns to the starting eleven, supporters will be hoping he can stay injury free and make an impact on the pitch.

Going forward, the former Lyon star has plenty of promise on his day, having also ended last campaign as Burnley's joint-most threatening player in terms of shots at goal per 90 (WhoScored).

Recent team news bodes well for Moyes, and even if Cornet doesn't make it back in time for Forest, the potential returns of Paqueta and Cornet are a much-needed bit of hope.
