Fabianski is now reported to be a doubt for the clash against Crystal Palace at the weekend, and while he hasn't entirely been ruled out, club sources cannot deem him a certainty to play.
An insider told Claret and Hugh: "He [Fabianski] cannot be considered certain for the game against Palace."

Areola has proven a more than capable deputy in the absence of Fabianski, especially in Europe, with the former Paris-Saint Germain goalkeeper impressing in West Ham's run to the Europa League semi-finals last season.
However, Moyes clearly deems his usual first choice as an ever-reliable figure, with the former Poland international being just one of four West Ham players to start every top-flight match so far this term.
Fabianski is also a 'fan favourite' for good reason, as explained by The Athletic reporter Roshane Thomas, and the 37-year-old's experience could prove invaluable to West Ham's attempts at a resurgence.
