Speaking in an interview with Versus Radio, as shared in La Lazio Siamo Noi and translated by Sport Witness, West Ham United ace Fabian Balbuena has teased potentially imminent contract renewal talks – with the Paraguayan stating that he will ‘certainly’ discuss it with the management over the ‘coming days’.
Balbuena, who has been out of the side recently after an impressive start to the campaign, with the 6 foot 2 ace previously partnering Angelo Ogbonna to good effect before his absences, has now dropped an encouraging message surrounding his future.
West Ham talks could be imminent in Balbuena message
Indeed, he was a regular under David Moyes before the combination of physical issues (Transfermarkt) and stellar form of defender Craig Dawson, but he still looks committed to the Irons judging by his latest declaration.
Commenting on links to Serie A giants SS Lazio, Balbuena has confirmed no offers from them whilst sharing he will ‘sit down’ to discuss the possibility of renewing his contract at West Ham – with the potential hope he can start featuring regularly again for Moyes.
“Certainly, in the coming days we will sit down with the management to talk about it, West Ham have an option to renew.”
Transfer Tavern take
