West Ham United fans have been reacting to Fabrizio Romano's claim that the club are interested in a move for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

The Hammers are named as a possible suitor for the England Under-21 international, along with fellow Premier League sides Watford and Crystal Palace.

Bayer Leverkusen are also competing for his signature and are said to be intent on a permanent deal rather than a loan.

Nketiah is about to enter the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and a recent offer from Arsenal has yet to resolve the uncertainty around his future.

Another Arsenal striker making move across London?

Back in 2018, West Ham signed another striker from Arsenal in the form of Spaniard Lucas Perez.

They paid £4million to bring him in but he only made 19 appearances for the club, scoring six goals in that time.

Twitter account West Ham Fan Zone relayed the Nketiah news, and here's what supporters made of it.
