West Ham confirmed that supporters had voted defender Issa Diop as their man of the match against Manchester United in the week.
And a number of Hammers supporters were quick to flock to the club’s official post on social media.
The 24-year-old partnered Craig Dawson at the heart of the defence and put in an impressive display.
