Vladimir Coufal is said to be increasingly frustrated by his recent negotiations with West Ham United over the possibility of a new contract [Sky Sports].

Becoming a key player for the Irons since signing from Slavia Praha in 2020, he registered a wonderful seven assists in 34 appearances in the Premier League last term [Transfermarkt].

Realising his importance to the side, David Moyes’s men have began talks with the Czech Republic right-back over a new deal at the London Stadium.

Despite this, talks are believed to have gotten off to a rocky start, with the club offering an agreement more centred on appearance and performance bonuses than a significant increase on basic wages [Sky Sports].

Thus far, the defender is keen to stay at West Ham United though has made it clear he feels his class is not being reflected in the offer.

In light of this, loads of West Ham United diehards took to Twitter to protest these recent developments.
