Taking to Twitter and sharing the latest from West Ham United manager David Moyes, journalist Jack Rosser has relayed what appears to be another injury blow before the Europa League clash against Rapid Vienna tonight.

The Lowdown: Treatment table...

Right-back Ryan Fredericks is already on the treatment table after incurring a repeat of his groin problem in the Carabao Cup victory over Manchester United last week.

The last thing Moyes will want is a recurring injury theme as he prays that most of his key men stay fully fit for what will be a long and gruelling season ahead.

However, it appears that the Scotsman may have been dealt a fresh blow ahead of tonight's clash with Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.

The Latest: Coufal a 'doubt' for West Ham...

As shared by Rosser on social media, Moyes has confirmed that Vladimir Coufal is now a doubt for West Ham's second group match of their European campaign.

The Czech Republic international's absence could leave the Irons desperately short in one key area, with their only other senior right-back Fredericks also on the treatment table.

The Evening Standard reporter tweeted on Wednesday: "David Moyes and Declan Rice speaking ahead of Rapid Vienna tomorrow night. Confirms Fredericks is out, Coufal doubtful too so a little short at right-back."

The Verdict: Big blow...

Depending on the severity of Coufal's knock, West Ham fans will be hoping that it isn't anything serious given how crucial he has been since signing last summer.

The 29-year-old, a contender for one of the Premier League's best full-backs of 2020/21, started 34 top-flight matches in his first season in east London and averaged the joint-most tackles per game (2.1) for the Hammers (WhoScored)

Coufal earned the hearts of Irons supporters with his robust and energetic displays on the right flank last season and it's safe to say that his presence could be crucial this term as well. Hopefully this is nothing more than just a little niggle.
