According to a report by David Ornstein of the Athletic, via West Ham News, the Hammers squad will share around £10 million in bonuses if they qualify for the Champions League at the end of 2020/2021 – with this update attracting attention from Irons supporters.
David Moyes’ men are absolutely flying in the Premier League right now after a huge 2-1 victory at home to London rivals Tottenham, as they currently sit pretty in fourth (BBC), with European qualification a real possibility after an unprecedented season so far.
Now, according to reliable journalist Ornstein, West Ham’s players could share around £10m in bonuses should they reach Europe’s most coveted club competition.
Flocking to this report, many Irons have had their say – with some hilariously claiming this could be bad news financially for GSB and David Sullivan.
The prospect of £10m being shelled out in bonuses, according to these supporters, may have Sullivan and co concerned.
