Speaking in a press conference, West Ham United manager David Moyes issued the latest team news on summer signing Said Benrahma – going on to state that he is ‘getting closer’ to match fitness and will be in and around the squad for the Hammers’ match against Fulham.
Should Benrahma start against Fulham?
Yes, surely can by now
No, have patience
Benrahma, who put pen to paper on a loan deal from Brentford after the Championship side failed to secure promotion, hasn’t started a match for the Irons as of yet.
Supporters in particular appear desperate to see their new man turn out, but Moyes has now dropped a potential hint that he will not be starting again as the Hammers prepare to take on their London neighbours.
Reacting to the manager’s comments, fans have gone on to have their say over Benrahma – with one claiming it is ‘stupid’ that he may not be on the team sheet due to a lack of fitness.
