West Ham United have been very good on the pitch recently, as they are undefeated in their last four. These games were not easy either as they faced Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Leicester City and Wolves.
The mood is definitely a positive one, and it’s not just their actions within those white lines that many fans of the Irons are proud of at the moment.
The club tweeted out that Joint-Chairman David Sullivan has made a personal £25,000 donation to @FareShareUK, which is money that will go directly towards free meals through the Child Food Poverty Taskforce.
This is to support Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford, who has started a campaign to feed hungry children, especially through holidays when they cannot access free school meals.
This is a great gesture from Sullivan, with one fan calling it ‘brilliant’. Despite the fact that many still want the board out of the club, the Hammers faithful of course have nothing but good things to say about this act of kindness.
