Writing on Twitter, Slavia Prague chairman Jaroslav Tvrdik has sent a message refuting Claret & Hugh's report over the asking price for striker Abdallah Sima - going on to claim that their alleged valuation of €40 million (£35 million) simply isn't true.

Sima has reportedly been on West Ham's radar since before the January transfer window, with C&H linking the Hammers with a potential move for the Senegalese ace.

After they offered an update on his asking price, which they claimed is around £35m, Slavia chairman Tvrdik poured cold water on the report - simply stating in reply: 'I'm sorry, but this report is not true'.

Flocking to the message on social media, plenty of Irons had their say over Tvrdik refuting claims of an eye-watering price demand.

Some West Ham fans professed their love for the Slavia chief whilst others wondered what the real price for Sima could be.
