# West Ham: CNN journalist shares Joao Pedro development

David Moyes could be set for his most crucial summer window in years as he seeks to maintain his side’s place among the [Premier League](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league-news/)‘s most elite sides.

As reiterated by Andrade, Pedro has been ‘closely watched’ by the Irons, who wish to sign an alternative forward option to Michail Antonio.

The Brazilian’s best moment in England’s top flight over 21/22 arguably came against Man United, where he bagged a goal for Watford in their shock [4-1 demolition of the Red Devils.](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59271461)
