Craig Dawson’s move to West Ham United is imminent, according to the usually reliable insider Ex-WHUemployee,
The Hammers have left it late to complete their transfer business – so late, in fact, that the international transfer window has closed. However, the domestic window is still open, and it seems the Irons could well be busy between now and its close on October 16th.
They have already agreed a fee for Said Benrahma, and are also looking at Dawson. In fact, they are so close to signing the central defender that reliable West Ham source ExWHU has said that a deal could be announced very soon.
The 30-year-old has a wealth of experience, especially in the Premier League – he has played 182 games in the top tier. At a price tag of no more than £4m, according to The Guardian, he could well be a bargain signing.
Would you like to sign Craig Dawson?
However, it looks like these West Ham supporters do not want Dawson anywhere near their club, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Let’s see what the fans has to say about Dawson!

What a depressing signing

Disgraceful signing…. would rather stick with what we’ve got

Bit grim that

🤦🏻♂️ David Sullivan to a tee, we’ve needed defenders since the start of the window so we’re gonna get Dawson on the cheap & spend a fortune on Benrahma, although a good potential signing, not one we need.
The big money should’ve been spent on Tarkowski

Why does this club persist on buying players past their best? It’s a complete waste of money, Dawson will bring nothing to this club. Desperate / management.
