West Ham: Fans flock to Eden Hazard news

West Ham: Fans flock to Eden Hazard news -Premier League

Flocking to Twitter, many West Ham fans have erupted over the recent news involving Real Madrid star Eden Hazard.

As per the Sunday Mirror (print edition 05/12/2021, page 70), via Hammers News, West Ham are eyeing a shock move for Belgian attacker Eden Hazard. It is claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes is interested in bringing the 30-year-old back to the Premier League, after an unsuccessful stint at Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The attacker bagged 110 goals and 92 assists in 352 games for Chelsea, before leaving for Madrid in a deal worth £103.5m.

However, Hazard has not been able to replicate this form in LaLiga. He has scored just five times and has made 9 assists in 54 appearances for the club.

Should West Ham sign Hazard?

As reported in the Sunday Mirror and shared on Twitter by @WestHamViews_, exciting news for Hammers fans has emerged as international star Hazard is reportedly being eyed for a potential transfer to the London Stadium. It is understood that West Ham would have to pay just £21m in order to sign the attacker in January.

Despite under-performing for the Spanish outfit, Hazard was a fan favourite for the Blues during his seven season stay in the Premier League. With seemingly limited game time on offer in Madrid, his affinity with the English league could entice the Belgian back to the capital.

West Ham fans erupt

As a result of these astonishing claims, many Hammers fans have been reacting to the news in disbelief on Twitter.
