West Ham: Fans react as club reportedly put off by valuation for Eberechi Eze

A lot of West Ham fans are reacting to news that the club are possibly pulling out of a deal for Queen’s Park Rangers attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze as they are put off by the £20 million valuation.
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle are also interested, but Spurs seem to be the only ones who remain keen after hearing the price tag.
Eze has lit up the Championship this season, making on average 1.9 key passes a game, whilst being fouled 2.4 times completing three dribbles per match too, via Whoscored. He has also picked up 12 goals and eight assists and, at just the age of 21, it looks like he could be a great player for the future.
With him looking like he has a lot potential, performing well in a very strong division at such a young age, it is clear to see why QPR have put such a big price tag on his shoulders. It would be difficult for the Championship side to replace him, so they will need such funds to find replenish their squad.
Many Hammers fans seem to agree with the reasons behind his valuation and think it is a fair price, considering his stats this term. They are therefore left frustrated that is seems the board will not put their hands in their pockets to finance a deal for the starlet.
Here is what some said following the news:
West Ham could be left frustrated in their pursuit of Ebere Eze, with QPR demanding £20m – a fee believed to a “stumbling block” for the Hammers.

We expect to pick them up cheap as it’s the championship 🤦🏼♂️ yet we pay sanchez 70k pw week and wilshere 100k plus, idiots!!
It’s going to take some turning around of Sullivan’s normal cheap strategy approach.
