Some West Ham United fans have been angered on Twitter, following an official club tweet detailing David Moyes’ thoughts on a strong start to pre-season for the Hammers, after their trip to St Andrews [West Ham United FC Official].

Setting off for the 2021/22 season last weekend, the Londoners clawed back a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 away at newly promoted Scottish Premiership side Dundee [The Courier].

Before competitive football engulfs the Irons schedule, Moyes will take his side to Leyton Orient, Northampton Town, Reading, Celtic and Brentford as they get put through their paces ahead of the new campaign [West Ham United FC Official].

Speaking to media about their trip north of the border to media outlets, the Scot added: “We worked hard in St Andrews, but we’ve also tried to enjoy ourselves too because we’re off the back of a really good season,” [West Ham United FC Official].
