West Ham: Fans react to transfer news surrounding Declan Rice

A lot of West Ham fans are reacting to the latest news that suggests Chelsea are very keen on Declan Rice, and it’s safe to say the Hammers believe he should not be sold for the reported valuation.
According to The Sun, Chelsea want to make the West Ham star a key part of their defence. Frank Lampard sees the former Chelsea trainee playing in the middle of a new look three man defence, and is willing to part with £45m to get the deal over the line.
After making his debut for the Hammers only three years ago, the 21 year-old England international, per Transfermarkt, has had a remarkable rise, and is now a crucial part of the Irons side.
This has seen him gain a great amount of experience, and he is clearly highly rated as he has already been captain of the club when called upon.
To be given the captaincy at such a historically big club shows that he oozes great quality and leadership, and Hammers fans will be hopeful that if they stay up, he will remain at the club.
Here is what they said following the news, with many suggesting that they should definitely not sell him for the reported £45m fee and should demand more.
