West Ham United are weighing a 'new move' to sign Flamengo forward Lazaro this summer, according to reports.

The Lowdown: Moyes eyeing more signings...

Despite having completed the signings of Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes, Alphonse Areola, Gianluca Scamacca, Maxwel Cornet, Thilo Kehrer and Emerson Palmieri, the east Londoners are tipped to keep busy.

September 1 is right around the corner and West Ham have endured a torrid start to the Premier League season, losing three out of three whilst failing to score a single goal.

This could back their need for further signings ahead of what could be a long and gruelling campaign with links still surrounding Club Brugge star Hans Vanaken and South American starlet Lazaro.

The Latest: West Ham weigh 'new move' for Lazaro...

Now, according to reports, it appears West Ham haven't given up on signing the latter man and are considering a fresh approach for the 20-year-old.

Journalist Raisa Simplicio of Goal Brasil says the Irons are 'evaluating' a swoop after their initial attempt, but Flamengo want 'at least' £10 million for their attacker.

Simplicio stated:

"West Ham is still evaluating whether to make a new move by Lázaro, the parties are talking. Flamengo wants at least 10m pounds"

The Verdict: Get it done?

Lazaro would come to east London with a glowing reputation having turned heads across the Atlantic.

Football Talent Scout Jacek Kulig has been quick to point out the Brazilian's rise and even claimed he is 'on fire' - having recently netted four times in five Brasileirão games for Flamengo in August.

Still very young, Lazaro would be a brilliant capture for the future going by his real ability on display in the Americas.
