West Ham United have entered talks to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic as a report also shares some promising news for supporters.

The Lowdown: Moyes prepares...

Ahead of the 2022/2023 Premier League campaign, manager David Moyes will be eager to strengthen his squad and ensure that the quality is there to compete with some of England's most elite sides.

The Hammers are apparently closing in on a deal for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca and have already signed defender Nayef Aguerd, midfielder Flynn Downes and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola on a permanent deal.

After all of this movement in east London, it appears GSB and head of recruitment Rob Newman are aiming to back Moyes further with the addition of exciting left-wing-back Kostic.

The Latest: West Ham in talks...

Indeed, as per 90min, the Irons have apparently entered negotiations for his signature amid their pursuit of Scamacca given both players share the same agent.

Sharing a further development on the story, the outlet have also made a promising claim - namely that Kostic is 'interested in joining' Moyes at the London Stadium.

The Verdict: Get it done...

As explained by this report, the Serbia international was a key player for Frankfurt last season - pitching in with seven goals and 15 assists in all competitions whilst playing a major role in their Europa League triumph.

The 29-year-old can also play at left-back despite being primarily used as a wing-back/winger, an aspect of his versatility which could prove very useful for Moyes.

Taking all of his strengths into account, it's hardly a surprise former Finland midfielder and Sparta Prague youth coach Tim Sparv has called Kostic an 'amazing' player.

Reports suggest the defender could cost around £25 million to prise away from Germany but he may well be worth the effort.
