Amid their plethora of mooted transfer activity, talkSPORT and journalist Alex Crook have made an interesting claim as West Ham United also weigh up a move for Ismaila Sarr.

The Lowdown: Irons in talks...

As reliably reported, the Irons and manager David Moyes are adopting a scattergun approach to this summer market and are reportedly in talks for multiple players.

Reporter Jacque Talbot even recently claimed that West Ham have been in discussions for a trio of targets simultaneously in Lille midfielder Amadou Onana, Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca and Chelsea forward Armando Broja (Twitter).

This comes after GSB and head of recruitment Rob Newman sealed moves for defender Nayef Aguerd, midfielder Flynn Downes and goalkeeper Alphonse Areola on a permanent deal.

The Latest: talkSPORT makes interesting claim involving Sarr...

Now, as per talkSPORT and Crook, it appears yet another player is now on West Ham's 'extensive list of targets'.

Indeed, Senegal international winger Sarr has emerged on to the Hammers' radar alongside his teammate Emmanuel Dennis and Moyes is apparently 'weighing up a double raid' on Watford for the duo.

The east Londoners have apparently had their eye on Dennis all summer but have now also turned their attention to Sarr as well.

The Verdict: Get moving?

It is clear that West Ham could secure a real talent if they opt to enter concrete talks.

As best explained by goalkeeper Ben Foster, Sarr can be 'scary' and a 'bit of a freak' with these tags also backed by some brilliant numbers when at his best.

Sarr, as per WhoScored, averaged the joint-highest rate of shots at goal per 90 over 21/22 whilst drawing the most fouls - highlighting just how much of a real threat he can be out wide. He was also clocked as one of the five fastest players in the top flight last term, recording a frightening speed of 21.67 mph.

Indeed, it's hardly surprising to see Moyes and consider bringing the 24-year-old back to the Premier League.
