Writing on Twitter, reliable club insider ExWHUemployee has dropped a revelation surrounding Marko Arnautovic and David Moyes’ alleged desire to re-sign him for West Ham – going on to claim that it is possible to sign the player on loan, despite theories that the club have maxed out their quota.
Indeed, when discussing with a fan on social media, ExWHUemployee was asked about the initial belief of some fans that West Ham couldn’t land any more acquisitions on temporary deals due to having two players on loan already in Said Benrahma and Craig Dawson.
ExWHUemployee drops Arnautovic revelation
However, ExWHUemployee simply stated ‘we can‘ in his message surrounding a potential move for Arnautovic – revealing that the rules for signing loan players from abroad doesn’t count towards your domestic total.
Clubs in England are restricted to two loan players from rival clubs in the country, however, this does not apply to temporarily taking star assets from abroad – which would be the case for Arnautovic.
Sharing this revelation on social media, ExWHUemployee has indicated that a loan deal for the sensational re-signing of Arnautovic is possible – coming as Moyes and GSB could tie up the ‘unplayable‘ ace this month.
Transfer Tavern take
Originally, a report from the Daily Mirror (via West Ham Transfers) indicated that the club are willing to make a move, with the reliable Irons insider backing up that Moyes is ‘really keen‘ to make the signing happen.
As West Ham search for a new attacker, this news could come as polarising for some sections of the Irons fan base, with swathes of them flocking to blast the original news of a possible loan when it came out.
Time will tell whether this move does happen, but it would certainly be an interesting development for numerous reasons if it did.
