Following up on an original report by the Daily Mirror, ExWHUemployee expanded on a development that West Ham reportedly want to re-sign Austrian international Marko Arnautovic – going on to claim that David Moyes is ‘really keen‘ on the move but it is ‘unlikely‘ to happen.
Arnautovic has somewhat dominated the headlines for West Ham over this past 24 hours, with supporters showing reservations already after the original Daily Mirror report broke this news.
ExWHUemployee, expanding on the subject with an update of his own, has revealed that the West Ham boss is in fact keen on acquiring the forward amid claims GSB could launch a raid for a forward in January.
Joshua King is another striker that has been heavily linked with a move to east London this month, but a return for West Ham’s polarising ex-hero is currently at the centre of discussion.
Flocking to the club insider’s update on Arnautovic after the original news broke, many Hammers had plenty to say – find all of their verdicts down below.
West Ham fans flock to Arnautovic update
“All the good team spirit we have built will be smashed to pieces, can’t believe it’s even being spoke about”
“I’d take him back! Twice the player Haller is. Why are some people so bitter? He left us to earn more money – it’s a short career – we’d have all done the same, or been tempted, in his position. It wouldn’t look bad if we brought him back -soon be forgotten with a goal or two”
“In two minds on this. Bloke is a snake, but if we had him 6 games ago we would be in top 4”
“Personally I hope it don’t happen, the guy has no loyalty at all, it’s going to take him 6-8 games for him to get up to the speed of the Premier League and that’s subject to his body mass and fitness. Let’s move forward not backwards.”
