According to a report by Eurosport, via West Ham Central, the Irons' GSB ownership are very likely to make a move for Burnley midfielder Josh Brownhill this summer - a source of excitement to many supporters as this news emerged.

Brownhill has been a mainstay for Sean Dyche's midfield this season and a real enforcer, making 2.4 interceptions per game on average in the Premier League - even more than West Ham star Declan Rice has managed over 2020/21 (WhoScored).

West Ham legend Mark Noble is set to hang up his boots at the end of the 2021/22 campaign after signing a one-year extension back in March, and Brownhill's impressive numbers point towards him being a worthy heir to the 33-year-old.

Eurosport claimed that West Ham are very likely to swoop for the Clarets midfielder in the summer transfer window.
