Despite shining at Euro 2020, the 31-year-old has arguably failed to replicate the same form at club level for West Ham United.
Yarmolenko started just one match last season in the Premier League under David Moyes and it is now believed he is open to leaving the east London club.
The winger signed from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 and is currently West Ham’s highest earner on £115,000 per week, arguably a high salary to pay for someone who barely features.
Yarmolenko suffered from a combination of injury issues and lack of opportunities under Moyes, and with this news emerging that he could be looking for new opportunities, many West Ham fans held no shortage of opinion.
West Ham fans flock to Yarmolenko news
“I’ll drive him to the airport myself”
“Gotta be at least 30m, player of the Euros”
“We need him to leave as well. Overpaid, injury prone and not quick enough for the league.”
“Please keep scoring
Please find a club that doesn’t know about your injury record
Please get sold for 15 million
Make me a happy West Ham fan”
“I’m happy with that”
