West Ham United: Fans react as Robert Snodgrass emphasises desire to stay at the club

West Ham United attacker Robert Snodgrass has been linked recently with Scottish heavyweights Celtic, but the latest rumours suggest that despite these links, the winger is keen to stay at the Irons.
Reported by Claret and Hugh, and tweeted out by @whufc_news, the 33 year-old Scotsman has reiterated his desire to not leave West Ham and he is more than willing to fight for his place in the team. Meanwhile, manager David Moyes is very happy to keep hold of the Scotsman and the Irons will reject any offer they receive for the player.
This news seems to have gone down very well with a lot of the Hammers fan base, with one fan calling him a ‘proper warrior‘, and it is easy to see why he is highly appreciated by many associated with the club.
This is due to the fact that he has been a great servant for the club as he has managed 82 appearances, per Transfermarkt, picking up 17 assists and scoring 11 goals, and despite the fact that he is not starting in the Premier League this campaign, he has started well in the EFL Cup, as he has managed two goals and one assist in three appearances.
Here is what fans said following the news:
Robert Snodgrass has insisted he does not want to leave West Ham and is more than willing to fight for his place in the team, with Moyes happy to keep hold of the Scotsman.
It’s believed the club will reject any offer they receive from Celtic today.
