# West Ham United: En-Nesyri reportedly open to Hammers move as GSB lodge £35.6 million offer

**According to an update by Sport, translated by[Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-united-en-nesyri-sevilla-transfer-seduced-move/), West Ham United target Youssef En-Nesyri is now ‘[seduced](https://sportwitness.co.uk/west-ham-united-en-nesyri-sevilla-transfer-seduced-move/)‘ by the prospect of playing in east London – coming as a potentially big boost after manager David Moyes confirmed a bid to sign him ([Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/david-moyes-doesn-t-want-to-add-to-list-of-failed-west-ham-b900208.html)).**

The move for the striker had looked in doubt, with journalist David Ornstein claiming Sevilla and the Irons couldn’t agree on terms ([Twitter](https://twitter.com/David_Ornstein/status/1352186048667901953)), but sections of the Spanish press have now offered entirely different updates.

### En-Nesyri boost emerges for West Ham

Indeed, Sport now claim that En-Nesyri is ‘seduced’ by the idea of joining West Ham and could now be open to a potential move – coming amid other reports from the continent that GSB have offered the ‘requested’ €40m (£35.6m) fee for his services ([La Razon](https://www.larazon.es/laotraliga/20210121/7wsgrc7ctzfyjn3dx66ssp55ka.html)).

Taking this update into account, it’s safe to say En-Nesyri being enticed by the Irons could come as a boost in West Ham’s race to sign a forward – with the clock ticking and manager David Moyes recently confirming that GSB have made a bid to land him ([Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/david-moyes-doesn-t-want-to-add-to-list-of-failed-west-ham-b900208.html)).

### Transfer Tavern take

Standing at a lofty 6 foot 3, the La Liga powerhouse has averaged an impressive 3.1 aerial duels won per 90 for both club and country since 2018 – highlighting his prowess as a target man ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/323547/History/Youssef-En-Nesyri)).

He could be exactly what West Ham need as a Michail Antonio alternative, and Moyes may be hoping the club can get a deal done as soon as possible.
