# West Ham United: ExWHUemployee reveals West Ham summer target

**In recent comments made on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/1356394772731228160), ExWHUemployee claimed that West Ham United are interested in a summer move for 19-year-old centre-forward, Abdallah Sima.**

Following a question from a West Ham fan asking whether David Moyes’ side could be interested in a move for Sima at the end of the season, [ExWHUemployee](https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/1356394772731228160) confirmed that the there is ‘[definitely interest](https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/1356394772731228160)‘ in a swoop for the [£7.2 million-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/marktwertverlauf/spieler/776798) Slavia Prague striker.

The Hammers insider also mentioned that Sima – who has bagged an awe-inspiring [17 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/leistungsdaten/spieler/776798) and [four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/abdallah-sima/leistungsdaten/spieler/776798) across 24 appearances in all competitions for Slavia Prague so far this season, a remarkable return for a teenager – could be ‘[on the list](https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/1356394772731228160)‘ of West Ham’s summer targets.

However, after questioning ‘who knows what the next six months will bring’, it would appear that Ex believes any move for the 19-year-old may be very much dependant on a number of external factors that could occur over the remainder of the season, meaning that a move is not set in stone for the striker.

### **Transfer Tavern Take**

Having [sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55576847) towards the beginning of the January transfer window, and, subsequently, not bringing in a replacement for the Frenchman, it would indeed appear that a centre-forward will be a priority for the Hammers this summer, as, at present, Michail Antonio is David Moyes’ only [out and out striker](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/kadernachposition/verein/379).

And, considering how well both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal [have performed](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/29/Show/England-West-Ham) since [joining West Ham from Slavia Prague](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/transfers/verein/379), it would seem as if there is a well-trodden path that could help guide Sima to east London.

**In other West Ham news, the Hammers were offered a striker in the final hours of the window, find out more [here](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/west-ham-transfer-rumours/west-ham-united-gsb-may-be-able-to-sign-diego-costa-as-offer-emerges-on-deadline-day/)!**
