# West Ham United: Fans desperate to land Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong

**After Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong bagged a last minute winning goal against West Ham’s arch rivals Millwall in midweek, plenty of Hammers gushed over the linked striker whilst begging GSB to make a deal happen – going on to say he is ‘[perfect](https://twitter.com/hammerkhadri/status/1334250773945913344?s=21)‘ for David Moyes.**

Armstrong, who has scored an impressive[14 goals in 14 Championship outings](https://twitter.com/WHUFC_News/status/1334250673282699265) this season, demonstrating a remarkable level of proficiency, is also linked with a move to West Ham – potentially in January.

Indeed, as Moyes scours the market for more fire power, [ExWHUemployee](https://www.patreon.com/posts/west-ham-way-new-44318523?utm_medium=post_notification_email&utm_source=post_link&utm_campaign=patron_engagement&token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJyZWRpc19rZXkiOiJpbnN0YW50LWFjY2VzczozNzE3OWU5NC1hMjJmLTQyODAtOTI0My0xMGQ3ZGRmMjNkZGMifQ.q5fTtuS34SbG8lsovTZsz7-i_23DTGp-bFwXXPaBVao) has claimed that Armstrong stands out as a candidate – with Hammers now pleading for his signature.

Tony Mowbray once hailed Armstrong as ‘[explosive](https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/sport/tony-mowbray-full-of-praise-for-dynamic-blackburn-striker-adam-armstrong/)‘, and it appears Hammers fans want to see the forward who has already failed once in the Premier League – albeit as a youngster at Newcastle – in east London.
