**According to a report by the [Daily Express](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1442197/West-Ham-transfer-news-Alex-Kral-Euro-2020), via [West Ham Central](https://twitter.com/WestHam_Central/status/1397947157638955008), the Irons’ owners GSB have held extensive talks with the representatives of Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral and are now looking to complete his signing.**

He could follow in the footsteps of international teammates Soucek and Vladimir Coufal as West Ham reportedly enter talks over his signing this summer. GSB are also ready to fork out [£14m](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1442197/West-Ham-transfer-news-Alex-Kral-Euro-2020) to secure his signature with the player’s agent Karol Kisel, even [confirming this week](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1442197/West-Ham-transfer-news-Alex-Kral-Euro-2020) that he was in England for discussions.

As this news emerges, a section of West Ham supporters have been left excited by the interest in Kral, with one believing that he would be a ‘fantastic signing’.

On paper, the 23-year-old is a similar player to Rice, having averaged the [same amount of interceptions (1.8)](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/369861/Show/Alex-Kral) domestically over the 2020/21 season whilst playing similar roles ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/29/Show/England-West-Ham)).

Therefore, it’s little wonder that so many supporters believe that Kral would be a fruitful addition for the Irons – check out some of their verdicts from social media below.
