**Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1337789313199656960), in which the club commented on the performance of Jarrod Bowen in their 2-1 victory over Leeds United on Friday.**

### **Impressive for the Irons**

Since joining West Ham from Hull City in what was a [£19.17 million deal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/transfers/spieler/314875) back in January, Bowen has gone on to feature 25 times for the Hammers, [scoring five goals and providing six assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/314875) along the way.

So far this season, the [£25.2 million-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/marktwertverlauf/spieler/314875) 23-year-old has highly impressed for David Moyes’ side, [scoring four goals and providing two assists](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/Show/Jarrod-Bowen) over his 12 Premier League appearances, averaging a [WhoScored match rating of 6.88](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/Show/Jarrod-Bowen) – ranking him as the club’s [seventh-best performer in the top flight](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/29/Show/England-West-Ham).

The right-winger was again one of the stand out performers for West Ham in their recent 2-1 victory over Leeds, a game in which Bowen had [three shots](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen), made [four key passes](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen), completed [one dribble](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen), won [two free-kicks](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen) and provided [one assist](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen), culminating in a [WhoScored match rating of 7.71](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/322596/MatchStatistics/Jarrod-Bowen) – ranking him as the [second-best player on the pitch in the fixture](https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1485284/LiveStatistics/England-Premier-League-2020-2021-Leeds-West-Ham).
