# West Ham United: Fans laud Frederik Alves news

**Many West Ham United fans have been left to laud some news involving Frederik Alves following a report from [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-moyes-staff-excited-by-alves-earmark-major-west-ham-role-for-him-next-season/).**

As per the news outlet, the East London club are lining up the Denmark U21 international for a role in the first team in the 2021/22 term.

David Moyes and his backroom staff have no doubt that the central defender is capable of playing in the Premier League, with [four](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/frederik-alves/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/542690/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=9267&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) games for the U23s under his belt so far in this campaign.

Nonetheless, it seems as if several members of the Irons faithful are more than happy for the 21-year-old to get his chance to step up.
