# West Ham United: Fans react to footage of Said Benrahma

**Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1337819510884229125), in which the club shared footage of Said Benrahma’s highlights during their 2-1 win over Leeds United on Friday.**

Since joining West Ham from Brentford, in what is originally a [one-year loan deal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/transfers/spieler/290532) that West Ham will make a [£20.79 million permanent move](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/transfers/spieler/290532) next summer, Benrahma had, prior to the Leeds fixture, struggled to convince David Moyes he was [ready for a Premier League start for the club](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/leistungsdaten/spieler/290532).

However, Moyes finally named the [£19.8 million-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/marktwertverlauf/spieler/290532) 25-year-old in his [starting XI](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/said-benrahma/leistungsdaten/spieler/290532) against Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and, although the winger did not manage to be directly involved in a goal, he nevertheless impressed in the [2-1 victory](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3421787).

Over the course of his 84 minutes on the pitch, Benrahma took [six shots](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/137021/MatchStatistics/Sa%C3%AFd-Benrahma), made [one key pass](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/137021/MatchStatistics/Sa%C3%AFd-Benrahma) and completed [three dribbles](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/137021/MatchStatistics/Sa%C3%AFd-Benrahma), culminating in a [WhoScored match rating of 6.98](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/137021/MatchStatistics/Sa%C3%AFd-Benrahma).

And, after the official West Ham United account posted footage of the Algerian’s highlights from the clash on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1337819510884229125), fans of the club flocked to heap praise on the 25-year-old’s performance.
