# West Ham United: Hammers buzz as Ivan Toney enters club agenda for summer window, according to ExWHUemployee

**According to a report by Hammers insider ExWHUemployee, via [West Ham Gossip](https://twitter.com/westham_gossip/status/1360532063582097412), the club have Brentford striker Ivan Toney on their agenda and are displaying an interest in him ahead of the summer transfer window – prompting many West Ham United supporters to buzz over this claim.**

Toney has been a revelation since signing for The Bees last summer from League One side Peterborough United, with the 24-year-old so far netting a head-turning 23 goals whilst assisting 9 others over his debut campaign in the Championship ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-toney/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/251664)).

Those are some very impressive numbers and his stellar run of form has seemingly attracted the attention of West Ham and GSB according to ExWHUemployee – as the club insider states that Toney is firmly on their radar.

The Hammers failed to bring in a striker in the January transfer window with Jesse Lingard becoming their only mid-season signing.

However, as these links emerge to Toney, plenty of Irons fans have been excited by the prospect of signing him this summer – find all of their best verdicts down below.
