# West Ham United: Irons buzz as Said Benrahma reportedly signs permanently

**According to journalist [Duncan Castles](https://twitter.com/DuncanCastles/status/1354060310387290112), attacker Said Benrahma’s loan has been converted into a permanent deal with West Ham United – resulting in plenty of Irons flocking as this reportedly ‘[huge news](https://twitter.com/benmorris2005/status/1354064636082069505?s=21)‘ emerges.**

Benrahma, who originally signed on loan from Brentford in the summer, has apparently now been converted into a permanent Irons player – which opens up a domestic slot to bring Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard on loan.

Lingard has been [heavily linked](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55810784) with a move to the London Stadium in recent days, and now Castles has dropped a claim that Benrahma has indeed put pen to paper in order to free up space in West Ham’s squad for the Englishman.
