# West Ham United: Journalist lifts lid on new transfer offer for Nikola Milenkovic

**Taking to [Twitter,](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1421819174612049926) journalist Ekrem Konur has lifted the lid on a new West Ham United bid as they lodge an offer to sign Fiorentina star Nikola Milenkovic.**

### The Lowdown: West Ham in Milenkovic talks…

As per Sky Sports reporter[Dharmesh Sheth](https://twitter.com/skysports_sheth/status/1421790782391033862?s=21), GSB and the Irons are ‘in talks’ with Fiorentina over Milenkovic amid difficulties surrounding a potential deal for fellow centre-back target Kurt Zouma.

Now, Konur has lifted the lid on a new West Ham transfer offer, this time for Milenkovic.

### The Latest: Irons make another transfer bid…

As per the Turkish reporter, writing on social media, West Ham have now made a bid for Milenkovic as they look to strengthen Moyes’ options.

The 23-year-old, who started [34 Serie A matches](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/319785/Show/Nikola-Milenkovic) for La Viola over 2020/2021, is the subject of intense personal interest from Moyes who wants to complete a deal for Milenkovic or Zouma.

Indeed, so much so that West Ham have tabled a £14 million offer to sign Milenkovic this summer.

“West Ham have made a £14m bid for Fiorentina for Nikola Milenkovic,” the reporter stated (via [Twitter](https://twitter.com/Ekremkonur/status/1421819174612049926)).

“David Moyes wants Kurt Zouma or Nikola Milenkovic’s transfer completed.”

As per reliable sources, like Charlie Eccleshare of the Athletic, prying Milenkovic away from Fiorentina could be a ‘relatively straightforward deal’ for clubs interested ([Twitter](https://twitter.com/CDEccleshare/status/1420033399717310480)).

He could even depart the Artemio Franchi Stadium for as little as [€15 million (£12.8m)](https://twitter.com/CDEccleshare/status/1420033399717310480), with Irons supporters now facing a wait to see if their proposed bid for Milenkovic will be accepted.

Given his impressive exploits last season, we believe he could be quite the capture.
