### The Latest: Sheth’s update

Speaking to [GiveMeSport](https://www.givemesport.com/88079327-west-ham-latest-on-lucas-paqueta-injury-return-date-at-london-stadium), Sheth highlighted that there had been conflicting reports regarding the length of Paqueta’s absence, but revealed that the 25-year-old is on course to be fit to make the trip to Qatar.

The journalist said: “It has been a bit of a blow to have lost him. I’m sure there was conflicting reports on how long he was going to be out for.

“The latest prognosis is that he should be available for the World Cup at the very least. West Ham, I’m sure, will be hoping that he can play some part before that World Cup break.”

West Ham have slowly started to [turn their form around](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/west-ham-united/spielplandatum/verein/379) after a difficult start to the campaign, and with three matches left before the mid-season break, they now have the chance to gather some momentum with the help of Paqueta’s highly anticipated return.
