# West Ham United: Some fans show their appreciation for Scott Parker

**Sunday marked the birthday of former West Ham United midfielder, and current Fulham manager, Scott Parker.**

With the 18 cap England international having represented the Hammers 129 times, as per [**Transfermarkt**](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scott-parker/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/3785/verein/379), the club [**posted a video**](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1183291281167900673)of some of his best bits in claret and blue to mark the occasion:

Some fans have shown their appreciation for what Parker did in a West Ham shirt, though there may be others who still can’t forgive him for leaving Upton Park and going to Tottenham Hotspur.

For those who have been able to forgive and forget, they will be looking back on moments such as his ingenious lob against Chelsea or the strike against Wigan Athletic, along with the passionate celebrations that accompanied many of his goals.

No matter what the opinion it is undeniable that he made an impact in claret and blue, having [**won Hammer of the Year**](https://twitter.com/WestHam/status/1183313929205882880) three times.

A selection of Twitter reaction to the video, including posts from reminiscing West Ham fans, can be seen below:
