# Leeds United: Fans lambaste Tyler Roberts after latest injury news ahead of Brentford clash

**Tyler Roberts is not fit for Leeds’ game against Brentford tomorrow night, as Marcelo Bielsa confirmed earlier today. The Wales centre-forward suffered a [knock to his calf](https://twitter.com/PhilHay_/status/1226839829645840390) (per Phil Hay) during the 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest and will not be in the squad for the fixture against the Bees.**

Walker hasn’t enjoyed the best of times this season, having been suffering from a hamstring problem which has seen him play just 12 times in the Championship [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tyler-roberts/leistungsdaten/spieler/296986). He suffered the issue in the clash against [Reading](https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-tyler-roberts-injury-17321110), eventually sitting out six games before returning for the win over Birmingham City. However, he suffered a recurrence in the fixture with [the Blues](https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/football/leeds-united/latest-leeds-united-news/marcelo-bielsa-keen-protect-versatile-leeds-united-star-tyler-roberts-1354705) and was out until the most recent loss at home to [Wigan Athletic](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tyler-roberts/leistungsdaten/spieler/296986).

His fitness problems meant Patrick Bamford enjoyed a prolonged spell in the number nine role, [scoring just eight goals in his last 25 league fixtures](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-bamford/leistungsdaten/spieler/183334). Another injury for Roberts means the former Middlesbrough forward could start tomorrow night as some fans took to Twitter to lash out at the 21-year-old. Here are a few tweets from fans:
