Spurs continue to have an excellent season in the Premier League this term as Mauricio Pochettino looks to guide his team to a top four spot.
A quiet summer in the transfer market lead to many fans thinking that the club would struggle to compete this term, but things have been quite the opposite, and Spurs are once again looking like a force to be reckoned with in the top flight.
However, we do think that they need to add as few more new signings if they are to keep competing, and one man we think they should look to target is Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne.
The England man has lost his place in the Liverpool XI to Trent Alexander-Arnold, and a move away from Anfield would not be the most surprising thing to see when the January window rolls around.
Clyne is a talented player though, and it is no fault of his own that he finds himself out of the squad at the moment, and while Spurs have the likes of Trippier and Aurier in the right back slot, there has been some doubts over the defensive showings of the latter.
Clyne is a class act on his day and was an England regular. There is little reason why he can’t rediscover that form and be a solid addition for Spurs if they choose to make their move.
Spurs fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
