# Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans react to links for Christian Luyindama

**Plenty of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have reacted to a transfer link to Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama after a Twitter post from [Talking Wolves](https://twitter.com/TalkingWolves/status/1247853126729826305) relayed information from [Fanatik](https://www.translatetheweb.com/?from=tr&to=en&ref=trb_ct&a=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fanatik.com.tr%2Fgalatasarayda-luyindamanin-talipleri-artiyor-bir-premier-lig-ekibi-daha-2133688).**

The report stated that Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Everton were also interested in the DR Congo international. The Toffees were Luyindama’s number one suitor, but Wolves remain keen on the 26-year old.

Luyindama has averaged 2.8 tackles, four clearances and 1.3 blocks per Champions League game this season, more than anyone else at the Turkish club, according to [Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/294/Show/Turkey-Galatasaray). This will be encouraging to WWFC supporters who will be hoping their side can break into the competition off the back of this campaign, indeed they still remain in the Europa League and currently sit sixth in the Premier League table, as per the [BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/tables).

In the Super Lig, the central defender wins 6.9 total duels per match whilst also averaging 3.8 clearances, 1.7 tackles and 1.2 interceptions, keeping four clean sheets, as per [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/christian-luyindama/867191), showing that he gets stuck in whichever competition he plays in.

These Wanderers fans reacted to the transfer link, with one supporter thinking that he looks like a cross between wrestler Roman Reigns and current Wolves ace Adama Traore:
