# Wolves: Conor Coady passing range from 3-2 Spurs comeback impresses many supporters

**Responding to match footage from Wolverhampton Wanderers’ [official club account](https://twitter.com/pedalsingh/status/1234921296997339136?s=21), many supporters have been in awe over Conor Coady’s ability to spray diagonal long balls – with the defender showcasing his range during Wolves’ 3-2 win at Spurs last weekend.**

Coady, who has started all [28 games](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97710/Show/Conor-Coady) for Wolves this season, could be seen as a crucial chess piece in Nuno Espirito Santo’s side given his composure on the ball at centre back – with only midfielder Joao Moutinho registering a higher pass success rate than the Englishman this season ([WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/161/Show/England-Wolverhampton-Wanderers)). Indeed, the 27-year-old has amassed an impressive [84.7%](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/161/Show/England-Wolverhampton-Wanderers) accuracy through his attempts to find teammates – with this footage showcasing exactly why these statistics potentially highlight his ability on the ball. As well as this, in the Europa League, Coady has averaged an even more noteworthy [91.2%](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/97710/Show/Conor-Coady) pass success rate – with supporters since going on to sing his praises.

One supporter even asked if there is ‘[anyone better in Europe?](https://twitter.com/pedalsingh/status/1234921296997339136?s=21)‘ when it comes to the long pass – meanwhile other fans simply applaud the ‘[massively underrated](https://twitter.com/andyroden/status/1234918509999771648?s=21)‘ defender. > How this man never gets a look in for the England squad is beyond me. Apparently Southgate thinks Michael Keane and Tyrone Mings are better 🙄

> Could watch these all day. I know Frankie Munro was a footballing centre half, but Coads plays these beautifully.
