# Wolverhampton Wanderers: Fans buzz as image of Temur Ketsbaia shirt emerges

**Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been buzzing as an image from The Wolf Whistle Podcast on their [Twitter](https://twitter.com/WolfWhistlePod/status/1258070904690618370) page emerged of an old shirt belonging to former player Temur Ketsbaia.**

The tweet claims that it was match worn and also asked whether supporters remember the rocket of a free kick that he scored against Sheffield Wednesday in 2000.

As per the club’s official [website](https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/features/20200420-quiz-goal-of-the-day-ketsbaia-vs-sheffield-wednesday/#), the ex-Georgian striker put Wolves ahead with a bullet from 25 yards on his Molineux debt following a well-worked routine before the Owls struck back to claim a point. That was one of [four](https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/features/20200420-quiz-goal-of-the-day-ketsbaia-vs-sheffield-wednesday/#) strikes from Ketsbaia at Wolves, where he made 29 appearances in gold and black having arrived from Newcastle United ahead of the 2000/01 season.

Wolves supporters can test their knowledge by naming the other players that made up the team on Wednesday 13th August 2000 [here](https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/features/20200420-quiz-goal-of-the-day-ketsbaia-vs-sheffield-wednesday/#).
