# Wolves: Fans call for greater positivity around the club

**Wolves-focused Twitter channel [Wolves Live](https://twitter.com/WolvesFC_latest) invited its followers to name the one change that they would like to see at the club. \[[via @WolvesFC\_latest](https://twitter.com/wolvesfc_latest/status/1176183193076027398?s=21)\]**

The Molineux club have endured a disappointing start to the season, with [no wins from their first six Premier League games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplan/verein/543) leaving them [second from bottom in the table](https://www.skysports.com/premier-league-table).

They have [failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplandatum/verein/543) and only a [95th-minute equaliser from Diogo Jota](https://www.skysports.com/football/c-palace-vs-wolves/report/408034) against Crystal Palace on Sunday [spared them from a fourth successive defeat](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplandatum/verein/543).

However, it has not been all bad for Wolves in the early weeks of 2019/20 – they [won all six of their Europa League qualifying games to reach the group stage](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/spielplan/verein/543) in their [first European participation since 1980](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/pokalhistorie/verein/543).

They have also made huge strides in recent seasons, [rising from a 15th-place Championship finish in 2016/17](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/platzierungen/verein/543) to [top the division the following year](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/platzierungen/verein/543) and then [finish seventh on their return to the Premier League](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/platzierungen/verein/543), in addition to [reaching the FA Cup semi-finals last term](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/pokalhistorie/verein/543).

These Wolves fans on Twitter called for other supporters to have a more positive outlook on the club’s fortunes:

> We’ve played some in form teams so far. We knew the opening fixtures would be tough especially considering the Europa qualifying. The thing to change is the pessimism and negativity. We’ve not won, but we’ve only lost twice in the league

> I would change all the new fans who snapped up the season tickets in the good times then immediately start whingeing when things ain’t going quite as well as they expect

> So-called diehard fans falling into their old negative ways.
