Cutrone is[currently loaned out to Fiorentina](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-cutrone/profil/spieler/265078), but the striker had joined Wolves from Milan in the summer of 2019. While Fiorentina [do have the option to buy him](https://www.violanation.com/fiorentina-transfer-rumors-news-reports/2020/12/7/22157622/fiorentina-patrick-cutrone-agent-terminate-remove-loan-purchase-clause-option-wolverhampton-wolves) permanently, the loan agreement originally stipulates that if he made a certain number of appearances, La Viola would have had to sign him permanently. [His agent later confirmed](https://www.violanation.com/fiorentina-transfer-rumors-news-reports/2020/12/7/22157622/fiorentina-patrick-cutrone-agent-terminate-remove-loan-purchase-clause-option-wolverhampton-wolves) that he has agreed to remove the purchase option from the contract.

At Wolves, the former Rossoneri man scored [three times in all competitions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-cutrone/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/265078/verein/543) while picking up four assists for Nuno Santo’s men. He scored twice in the Premier League.

### **What did Wolves fans make of this tweet about Patrick Cutrone?**

**To be honest, I’d have him back…. and buy another striker. If we’ve learned anything this season, it’s that small squads don’t work. Raul, Cutrone, Silva and one more gives us options.**
