In 32 appearances, Jovic has only scored twice and is yet to get off the mark during the 2020/21 campaign ([TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luka-jovic/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/257462)), putting his future with the Galacticos in doubt.

**“This striker search will twist and turn throughout January and will culminate in us signing a young, previously unheard of Hungarian striker called Fredi Mosschops who scored 4 in 26 U18 games for his home town club. He’ll go straight into the U23 squad. Back in Hungary by Dec.”**

**“We won’t sign anyone on loan unless it’s someone like Diego Costa, Rondon or the like the end of their career, what’s needed is an investment which I’m afraid won’t happen”**
